Meta Signals India-Focused AI Models as Global Leaders Gather at AI Impact Summit
Meta’s Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang announced that the company will launch a new generation of artificial intelligence models in 2026 designed to address local needs in India and across the Global South. Speaking at the India AI Impact Summit, Wang said the upcoming models will be deeply integrated into Meta’s products and mark a major step toward personalised AI experiences.
