Sharing a monochrome image of the late advertising genius on Instagram, the Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan actor described Pandey as a visionary leader who reshaped India’s advertising landscape with unmatched creative courage, social insight, and authenticity.
Rao wrote, “Piyush Pandey sir in my eyes was the general of the Indian advertising world, who used to stand in the front row with his pen on every small and big creative front. Every obstacle had a break. His grip on Indian society was amazing — especially as an advertising guru who understood rural India better than anyone else.”
