CM Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate DCC Presidents’ Training Programme at Ananthagiri Hills
Telangana Chief Minister is set to visit Vikarabad district on Saturday to inaugurate a training programme for District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents from both Telugu states. The sessions will be held at , with several ministers and party leaders expected to attend the event.
Officials confirmed that the programme will bring together 41 DCC presidents from Andhra Pradesh and 36 from Telangana for a ten-day training initiative aimed at strengthening organisational coordination and leadership skills. The Chief Minister will formally open the sessions, marking the beginning of discussions focused on party structure, outreach strategies and governance priorities.
According to the schedule, Revanth Reddy will depart Hyderabad by helicopter at around 1.30 pm and land at the SAP College ground in Vikarabad by 1.45 pm. District MLAs and local leaders are expected to welcome him upon arrival. From there, the Chief Minister will travel by road to Ananthagiri Hills to reach the venue in time for the inaugural session at 3 pm.
While the Chief Minister will use air transport due to time constraints, ministers attending the programme are expected to arrive by road. The training programme reflects efforts to build coordination between party units in the neighbouring Telugu-speaking states.
Political training programmes for district-level leadership are often seen as key to strengthening grassroots organisation and policy communication. Bringing leaders from two states together may help align messaging, share campaign experiences and improve coordination on regional issues.
Observers note that such initiatives also focus on capacity building, including digital outreach, public engagement and governance awareness. With elections and policy debates increasingly shaped at the district level, training sessions are viewed as an important preparatory step for local leadership.
Future Outlook
After inaugurating the programme, the Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Hyderabad by helicopter later in the day. District authorities said extensive logistical and security arrangements were made ahead of the visit.
The preparations were overseen by District Collector , Police Division Management Committee Chairman and other senior officials, who reviewed venue readiness, transport coordination and security measures on Friday.
