A high-profile inheritance dispute worth ₹30,000 crore, involving late industrialist Sunjay Kapur’s estate, has intensified — and now actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has subtly stepped into the conversation. Kareena, who was once Sunjay’s sister-in-law through Karisma Kapoor’s marriage, liked a viral post featuring a clip from Mandhira Kapur Smith’s explosive interview on the podcast InControversial with Pooja Chaudhary.
The shared clip included a strong caption:
“If these people think we don’t know our own blood… THINK AGAIN.”
The post introduced Mandhira’s version of the ongoing legal battle, stating that the fight involves not gossip but an active court case involving legacy, lineage, and the future of two children.
In the interview, Mandhira — Sunjay Kapur’s sister — questioned the authenticity of the alleged will and accused Sunjay’s widow Priya Sachdev of attempting to erase the Kapur family’s legacy. She said her family “knows its own bloodline” and expressed shock that no Kapur blood relatives were present at the Sona Diwali pooja, calling the situation “robbery” and “fraud.”
Mandhira went further, claiming that asking the family to sign an NDA over their own estate was unacceptable. She vowed to fight for what she described as the rightful inheritance of her family and her children.

Sunjay’s sudden death on June 12 triggered the massive inheritance dispute, with allegations around the legitimacy of the will, signature mismatches, property claims, and escalating accusations between Priya and the Kapur family.
