In an exclusive Interview with The Trending People, Arun Yogiraj spilled the beans on how he made the idol of Ram Lalla for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. It's a cool story!
Arun Yogiraj is a famous sculptor in India. He got to make the idol of Ram Lalla for a special ceremony in Ayodhya. This was a big deal because Lord Ram is super important in India, and his story is a big part of the culture.
Yogiraj told us that he didn't know how to start making the face of the idol for the first two months. Then, during the festival of Deepawali, he saw pictures of Indian kids having a blast. That gave him the idea for Ram Lalla's face, and he got to work.
But making the eyes was tricky. He only had 20 minutes to finish them! Before starting, he had to do special rituals like taking a bath in the Saryu River and doing pooja at Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhawan. Plus, he used a golden scissor and a silver hammer.
Here's the fun part: a monkey would visit his studio every day around 4 to 5 pm. It watched him work for a month! Later, he found out that a monkey had visited the sacred place where the idol was kept. Pretty cool, right?
After finishing the idol, Yogiraj sat with it and felt like it wasn't just his creation; it was something special. He said the idol had a different vibe.
Now, let's talk about the challenges. At first, Yogiraj wasn't even invited to make the idol. He only got a call on the last day! That's wild. Then, he faced some tough times. The first idol he made got rejected after three months because of technical issues. That was a big bummer. Also, he got an eye injury, and that slowed him down for a week.
But Yogiraj didn't give up. He started all over again, competing with himself. Even though he had some tough days, he was happy for the support from the temple people and the good vibes in Ayodhya.
In the end, Yogiraj's journey is like a cool adventure. He faced problems, but he made a fantastic idol that everyone loves. The ceremony in Ayodhya was like a second Deepawali, and Ram Lalla's idol became a big hit!
