Stone finished the night with a goal and an assist, while Jack Eichel delivered a standout performance with three assists. Goaltender Akira Schmid made 22 saves as Vegas improved its record to 22-11-12 and extended its recent run to 5-0-1.
The decisive moment came quickly in overtime when Eichel led a controlled rush into the offensive zone, forcing Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper to commit before setting up Stone for the game-winner.
Key Moments From the Game
Vegas opened the scoring midway through the second period when Braeden Bowman snapped a wrist shot past Kuemper, ending his 17-game goal drought and underlining the Golden Knights’ scoring depth.
The Kings responded early in the third period to level the contest, but Mitch Marner restored Vegas’ lead at 12:07 with a precise wrist shot from the slot. Los Angeles managed to equalise again late in regulation, forcing overtime but ultimately fell short.
Eichel’s three assists extended his point streak to six games, as Vegas continued to rely heavily on its top line during the winning run.
