Divyanka Tripathi’s Independence Day: Yoga, Flag Hoisting, and Samosa-Jalebi Delight
Mumbai, Aug 15 – Television star Divyanka Tripathi, best known for her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, celebrated Independence Day 2025 in a way that blended fitness, patriotism, and indulgence.
The actress began her day with a workout session, watched the traditional parade, joined flag-hoisting ceremonies, and ended with the classic Independence Day snack combination — samosa and jalebi.
A Morning of Fitness and Patriotism
Sharing glimpses of her day on Instagram, Divyanka posted photos of herself doing yoga and posing with women security officers in uniform.
She described her idea of freedom as:
"Freedom is — being able to peacefully go workout at your will, watch over-zealous society kids jumping around in tiranga outfits post flag hoisting, security ladies showcasing their parade, and us having Samosa-Jalebi, the Independence Day staple with the patriotic lot!"
The actress added, "Independence, a state that our Indian forces strive hard to maintain, so we can live at will. My day was superb, how was yours? Happy Independence Day!"
Honouring the Forces on Kargil Vijay Diwas
Just weeks before Independence Day, on July 26, Divyanka and her husband, actor Vivek Dahiya, visited the Combat Army Aviation Training School in Nashik to mark Kargil Vijay Diwas.
During their visit, the couple met Colonel Jaskar Choudhary and had heartfelt conversations about the dedication and sacrifices of Indian soldiers.
Sharing pictures from the visit, Divyanka wrote:
"Our visit to the Combat Army Aviation Training School in Nashik hit differently, a place where valour is taught, not told. During heartfelt conversations with our friend, an acting officer — Col Jaskar Choudhary, we were filled with awe at the grit it takes to serve."
She reflected on the soldiers’ sacrifices, adding:
"From running on sheer passion to sacrificing comfort for country, these soldiers remind us what true service looks like."
A Dream of Wearing the Uniform
Revealing a personal aspiration, Divyanka said:
"I once dreamt of wearing the uniform… perhaps one day I’ll live it on screen. But today, I lived it through their stories. A nostalgia for something I never had, and a pride I’ll always carry."
She ended her tribute with a message for all citizens:
"Let’s strive to be citizens worthy of their sacrifices. To the ones who gave it all — we remember, we salute. Jai Hind."
Final Thoughts by TheTrendingPeople
Divyanka Tripathi’s Independence Day celebrations struck a balance between personal well-being, national pride, and gratitude toward the armed forces. Her words reflect the larger sentiment of honouring the freedom hard-earned by generations before us and protected by those in uniform today.
In her own way, she reminded fans that patriotism can be as much about everyday actions — staying fit, respecting traditions, and valuing freedom — as it is about grand gestures.
