Colleagues of actor Rituraj Singh begin talking about their work with him. Actor Rituraj Singh passed away on Tuesday. He was well-known for his roles in popular television series like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017) and Satyameva Jayate 2 (2021). His wife Charu Singh, son Adhiraaj, and daughter Jahaan survive him. He was 59 years old.
Actor and Singh's friend Amit Behl said to PTI that the actor had been hospitalized for stomach problems before his discharge a few days ago. He experienced a heart attack and died at home around 1:30 in the morning.
Singh began his acting career in 1992 with the release of the English film Miss Beatty's Children. Singh was born in Rajasthan in 1964. He was busy up until recently, appearing in the hit series Anupamaa. He was extremely energetic and devoted to his work, said Milap Zaveri, who directed him in SJ 2. He used to practice all of his dialogue with John (Abraham) and me well in advance. It was genuinely enjoyable working with him. A wonderful performer and a gentleman. His demise is a great loss.
Shweta Basu Prasad, who represented his daughter-in-law in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, tells us, "When we were filming for Badrinath, I remember Rituraj sir was walking and I overheard someone remark, "You know back in the day, in the 90's Shah Rukh Khan would copy/be inspired by the way he moved..." He was the coolest person in the bunch. He had a natural swagger. Singh began his career in the same theatrical organization as Khan, and the two became friends.
