Following their union on December 9, 2021, in Rajasthan, the actor shared that being with Katrina makes him feel utterly at peace, devoid of any urge to hurry through life's moments.
In an interview with GQ India, Vicky Kaushal divulged how marriage has endowed him with greater maturity and patience. He showered praise upon Katrina, describing her as his "home" and emphasizing that her companionship evokes a profound sense of alignment and contentment within him. Despite playful banter about their differing personalities—Vicky admitting to being more resolute while teasing Katrina for her emotional tendencies—the underlying sentiment of mutual admiration and respect was unmistakable.
Vicky is "absolutely content" with Katrina.
About his relationship with Katrina, Vicky remarked, "I've matured more in the last two and a half years [post-marriage] than in my first 33. Eight times, I've discovered, 'Oh, there was a different perspective on this but I was too hooked on mine'. We debate everything, from little things like what cuisine to order online to major topics like where to vacation, in detail until it works for both of us. Imagine your day off. Raining outdoors. Your mind is at peace and nothing is making you worry about the future or the past. Just present. Your happiness is immense. That occurs when I'm with her."
Vicky doesn't feel like "rushing anywhere" with Katrina.
