The poster of Jai Hanuman carries the words "Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha Jai Hanuman begins…," and in another image, Prasanth Varma is seen holding the script in front of a Lord Hanuman temple, dressed in traditional attire.
Hanu-Man, set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, stars Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vinay Rai in lead roles. The Telugu-language superhero film, which has already crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide, also marks the initiation of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).
During the film's pre-release event, the makers pledged to donate ₹5 for every ticket sold to the Ram Mandir. They have already fulfilled this promise by presenting a cheque of ₹14,85,810 from premieres and will contribute ₹2,66,41,055 from subsequent ticket sales.
Teja Sajja, the lead actor, shared his excitement about the film, stating, "The very idea of doing a superhero film is very exciting for me. In this film, a young boy gains superpowers by the grace of Lord Hanuman and fights for his people and religion." He emphasized that the film combines superhero action for children, comedic elements, and a connection to Indian history, creating a thoroughly entertaining experience.
