Mumbai, March 18 (TheTrendingPeople): Actress Mamta Kulkarni recently shared a humorous behind-the-scenes story from the sets of the iconic Bollywood film Karan Arjun, revealing how co-stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan cleverly avoided dancing in a song, leaving her to perform the entire sequence alone.
Mamta made the revelation while appearing on the cooking reality show Celebrity Laughter Chefs, hosted by comedian Bharti Singh along with chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
During the episode, comedian Krushna Abhishek asked her about her experience working with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the 1995 blockbuster.
What Happened on the Sets
Recalling the shoot, Mamta said that a particular song was initially choreographed for all three actors. However, things took an unexpected turn when both Salman and Shah Rukh convinced the choreographer to shift the focus entirely onto her.
She revealed that the choreographer initially told her she was not required for the song, which made her believe she had no shoot that day.
Mamta said she returned to her room and relaxed, only to be called back shortly after.
According to her, the choreographer informed her that Salman and Shah Rukh had suggested that she should perform the song solo, claiming that it would suit her better and that they would not be able to match the choreography.
Mamta added that while the two actors stepped aside, she ended up performing the entire dance sequence on her own.
She further revealed that the performance was completed in a single take, making the experience both challenging and memorable.
Her candid and humorous recounting of the incident left the audience and fellow participants on the show laughing.
