Chennai, June 3 (The Trending People): Renowned Tamil film director Selvaraghavan, known for his impactful movies and also the elder brother of actor Dhanush, took to social media on Tuesday to express his admiration for Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. Selvaraghavan was particularly impressed by Mohanlal's powerful performance in his recent blockbuster film, 'Thudaram,' declaring himself "mesmerised by the best actor in India."
Sharing his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), Selvaraghavan wrote, "Brilliant Brilliant movie Thudarum is! Only @Mohanlal sir can pull off this film! What an actor! Mesmerised by the best actor in India!"
Directed by Tharun Moorthy, 'Thudaram' hit cinemas earlier this year and quickly became a massive hit, breaking box office records. The film even made history in Kerala, earning over a staggering Rs 100 crore in the state alone. The overwhelming love from audiences prompted Mohanlal to share a heartfelt thank-you message.
In his message of gratitude, Mohanlal expressed, "I’m deeply moved and truly humbled by the love and heartfelt response for #Thudaram. Each message and every word of appreciation has touched me in ways I can’t fully express."
