The Jain community in Rajgarh (Dhar), Madhya Pradesh, is all set for a grand Chaturmas festival in 2025. A special meeting was held at Shri Rajendra Bhavan to plan the event and form a committee for smooth organization.
Under the guidance of Acharyadev Shrimad Vijay Hiteshchandra Surishwarji Maharaj Saheb, and with respected monks like Muniraj Pushpendra Vijayji, Muniraj Rupendra Vijayji, and Muniraj Jeetchandra Vijayji, the community is making all arrangements for the holy monsoon season.
Committee member Ashok Bhandari shared that the main Chaturmas procession will start on July 7 from Shiv Vatika Mela Ground. On the same day, the 25th Diksha anniversary of Muniraj Pushpendra Vijayji will be celebrated with a big city parade, including seven elephants and the Rajendra Abhidhan Kosh. There will also be special prayers, community meals, and spiritual talks.
Pritesh Saraf is the new committee president, Sandeep Khajanchi is the acting president, and Kamlesh Chattar is the treasurer. Former president Manilal Khajanchi was thanked for his hard work for the community.
Many senior members and community people joined the meeting, showing strong unity and excitement. Organizers believe this year’s Chaturmas will be the biggest and most inspiring celebration yet.
