New Delhi, May 13 (The Trending People): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Class 10 results for the academic year 2024–25 today, May 13, 2025. The results are now live on the board's official websites — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in — for over 23 lakh students who appeared for the exams earlier this year.
Overall Pass Percentage at 93.66%
This year, the overall pass percentage for CBSE Class 10 stands at 93.66%, showing a slight improvement of 0.06% over the 2024 results. 23,71,939 students had registered for the exam, and 22,21,636 successfully cleared it.
Girls Outperform Boys Once Again
Girls have outshined boys yet again in academic performance:
- Girls’ pass percentage: 95.00%
- Boys’ pass percentage: 92.63%
- Difference: 2.37%
In a significant milestone for inclusive education, transgender students also secured a 95.00% pass rate, matching the performance of their female counterparts.
Rise in Schools and Exam Centres
This year saw an increase in the number of schools and exam centres:
- Total schools: 26,675 (up from 25,724 in 2024)
- Exam centres: 7,837 (up from 7,603 in 2024)
