The movie "Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life" has been getting a lot of praise since it came out last month. Actor KR Gokul, who had a big role in the movie directed by Blessy, recently talked about his experience getting ready for the role in an interview with India Today.
He said he had to endure some tough things to get into character. Gokul mentioned that he went on a diet where he hardly ate anything and drank water. It was so extreme that he actually collapsed on the third day.
What KR Gokul said:
When asked about his method, the actor said, "All the attempts I did to drop weight for Hakeem helped me portray the role honestly. It took a toll on both my body and mind. I was on a water diet and steadily reducing calories. I had to push myself to the limit during the previous 15 days. I was famished and had been drinking just black coffee for the last 15 days. I collapsed on the third day itself. My family and friends suffered the most. It had a toll on my mental health.
The actor posted a photo of his physical makeover on Instagram, replicating the position of Christian Bale, who similarly underwent a metamorphosis for his role in The Machinist. He delivered his performance as an homage to the arts.
